Edit video with a prompt.
Describe the video you want. Your coding agent creates the scenes, places the motion graphics, and syncs the music. Every layer lands on the timeline. Then tweak anything by hand and export.
First, install Node.js LTS (20.10 or newer) and reopen your terminal. The command downloads and starts Agentcut automatically.

How it works
Three cuts to a finished video.

Start the helper
One command on your computer. It uses the Claude Code or Codex you already signed in to, and keeps your projects in a folder you own.
Install Node.js LTS (20.10 or newer) first, then reopen your terminal. This command downloads and starts Agentcut automatically.

Say what you want
Describe the video in the chat. The agent writes real Remotion scenes, places library components and lays out the timeline while the preview rebuilds live.

Tweak it and export
Drag clips, change any prop in the inspector, or point at a frame and ask for a fix. Export an MP4 right in the browser, wide and mobile.
Components
49 motion components, ready to drop in.
Titles, lower thirds, stats, chat threads, transitions. Hover to play. The agent uses them by name, and you tune their props in the inspector.
Kinetic Poster
A kinetic Bauhaus poster: primary-colored circles, triangles, bars and quarter-circles step across a strict grid one move per beat, lock into a composition, then sliding color bars uncover a Swiss-style title.
Prompt Box
An AI chat input that types a request character by character, then presses send.
Stat Counter
A big number that counts up to its value with a label, optionally inside a progress ring.
Chat Thread
A chat conversation building up bubble by bubble: replies arrive after a typing indicator, your messages pop in on the right.
Split-Flap Board
An airport departures board: each character sits in its own tile and flips through random glyphs before landing, left to right.
Sticker Slam
Your brand as a die-cut sticker in the middle while the background hard-cuts between surfaces (laptop lid, brick wall, skate deck, street sign, cardboard box…), the sticker snapping to a new tilt on every cut.
Styles
One word restyles the whole video.
Captions, graphics, camera moves and texture all follow the project's style. Same clip, same edit, 8 completely different videos. Pick one and watch it slide in.
All styles and templatesUnder the hood
The timeline is a file. The video is code.
- Your machine, your keys
- The page has no backend. The agent, your files and any API keys stay on your computer.
- Real code, not a black box
- Every scene is a React component in your workspace. Open it in your editor any time.
- Claude Code or Codex
- Use whichever you have, switch in the chat. Both get the same tools and skill.
- Open source, MIT
- The studio, the helper and all 49 components. Fork it, extend it, ship it.
